Team Work Makes the Dream Work
I have been with VAP Packaging Management for 4 ½ months now. When I was first approached to write a blog, I thought to myself, “Can someone who has only been with the company for a few months have anything to write about?” The answer is yes.
From my initial interview to being hired on as a new team/family member I knew that VAP was the company for me. I have 18 years of experience in the customer service manufacturing industry and have worked at many companies who state that they care about their employees and that we’re all family, but VAP doesn’t just say it, they show it. VAP cares just as much about their team members as they do about their customers which says a lot. I’m also impressed by the fact VAP gives back to our community in so many ways.
It’s refreshing to work for a company whose culture has driven their growth. Great things happen when companies re-invest in their 
business and their team members. It really shows through each one of us. We’re all proud to wear our VAP gear!
One of my favorite things about VAP is how all the team members are willing to help each other. When I found out that we were shorthanded in our Assembly Department I thought, this is my opportunity to return the favor for all the great work they do for our customers. I asked our assembly lead, Steve, if I could come out and help build some packs and he accepted. We had a couple of other volunteers from different departments and thanks to the awesome teamwork we were able to make our customer’s deadline on their packs. For those of us who have never worked in the assembly department before, well let’s just say that we have an even greater appreciation for the work this department does every day for Team VAP.
I feel very blessed to be a part of VAP and look forward to our future.
